Exams
The dental exam will be a detailed examination of the teeth, gums, and mouth. The exam will consist of a medical history review, discussion of concerns, visual examination, xrays, and periodontal evaluation. A dental exam should typically be done twice a year to detect dental issues early to provide preventative care.

Dental Sealants
Dental sealants helps prevent decay on pits and fissures of the biting surfaces of the teeth. Placing sealants is non-invasive and painless. It is a cost-effective procedure done in one visit.

Cleanings
A dental cleaning, also called dental prophylaxis, performed by one of our professional and talented hygienists. At the cleaning, we will remove plaque, tartar and stains. The hygienists will evaluate the gums by doing a periodontal evaluation by measuring the periodontal pockets to evaluate for gum disease. Part of this visit, will be preventative education to create and maintain good oral health habits.

Digital Dental X-Rays
Dental Xrays provide detailed images of the teeth, gums, jawbone, and surrounding oral structures. Digital X-rays offer many advantages over traditional film-based X-rays, including improved image quality, reduced radiation, and immediate processing times.

Oral Cancer Screening
Early stage of oral cancer is painless and can go undetected. That is why coming into the dentist for an checkup is critical. At your checkup, an oral exam will be done of the soft tissues and manual palpation of the neck. Also, Dr. Alonso uses technology as diagnostic aid to help identify the early stages of oral cancer.
